Tiny Legion — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the mobile game Tiny Legion ("the Game"), published by AppVera.net ("we"), collects, how it is used and how you can delete it.

1. Information we collect

The Game does not ask for your phone number, location, contacts, photos or microphone. You sign in with your Google account so that your progress and purchases are kept safe.

Sign-in account (Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication): an account ID, plus the email address, name and profile picture link that Google shares when you sign in. The Game itself uses only the account ID.
Game data (Cloud Firestore): progress, settings such as sound and language, coins, gems, items you own, mission and achievement rewards, a history of coin and gem changes, records of battle runs (mode, difficulty, stage reached, coins and gems carried, what ended the run, start and end time), how many rewarded adverts you watched today, the app version and the time you were last online.
Purchase records: the product you bought, the Google Play order ID and the time. Your account ID is attached to the purchase so it can only be used by your account. We never see your payment details.
On your device: a copy of your save and a sign-in token, so you stay signed in.
Server logs: our server logs some events (such as an advert reward being paid) with your account ID, to find problems and abuse.
Internet check: before a run, the Game sends one request to clients3.google.com to check the device is online. We do not store the result.
Leaderboard: a leaderboard name (made up by the game, for example "Knight-4821", or chosen by you), your best stage on each board (Normal, Hard, Hell, Endless), and your choice of whether to show your name. The name is never taken from your Google account.

2. How we use it

To keep your progress and purchases across devices.
To run the game's rules on our server: the server keeps your coins, gems and paid items, checks every purchase with Google Play, and pays rewards only once.
To prevent cheating and abuse.
To show adverts and pay the in-game reward for watching one.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Leaderboard

The game has a global leaderboard. While the "Show my name on the leaderboard" switch on the Ranks page is on (it is on by default), other signed-in players can see your leaderboard name and your best stage on each board. We do not show your email address, Google name or profile picture to other players. You can turn the switch off at any time and your row is removed from the leaderboard at once. We keep your best stages privately in your account so you can still see your own rank, and we put your row back if you turn the switch on again. You can change your name for gems. We may remove a name, or keep an account off the leaderboard, if the name breaks the rules.

4. Services we use

These services process data for the Game under their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions): stores your account and game data and runs the server checks. Game data and server functions are in the Singapore region (asia-southeast1). Firebase privacy
Google Play Billing: processes in-app purchases. Google Privacy Policy
Google AdMob: shows full-screen and rewarded adverts. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device information and how you interact with adverts, and may show personalised adverts where the law allows. For a rewarded advert the Game gives AdMob your account ID and a run ID, so Google can tell our server the advert was watched. How Google uses data from apps that use its services

5. Advertising consent

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the Game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before adverts are loaded. When the form says you can change your choice, a Privacy choices button appears in the Game's Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

6. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account and data at any time in the Game (Settings → Delete account) or by email; see Delete your Tiny Legion account for the steps and for what is kept afterwards. Your leaderboard row and the best stages stored in your account are deleted when you delete your account.

8. Security

The Game talks to our server only over encrypted connections, and each player can read only their own data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
